About This Course:
The American Taxpayer Relief Act of 2012 changed the individual tax rates, phased out itemized deductions and personal exemptions at various income levels and filing statuses, increased tax rates on capital gains and dividends for certain taxpayers, and addressed the complex alternative minimum tax.

Other changes include permanent extensions of specific tax provisions, extension of credits that expired or were set to expire, business tax credit extensions, energy tax credit extensions, and increase in payroll taxes.

She has over 10 years of experience in tax and accounting, focusing on strategic tax planning and accounting processes. She is the founder of AGA Group, and previously worked for a nationwide public accounting firm for seven years as the Senior Tax Consultant. She is a frequent speaker on tax topics.

Magda Szabo, CPA LLM, Perelson Weiner, NY
She provides tax planning and reporting services for foreign and domestic entities and individuals. She has extensive experience handling foreign and domestic tax controversies at the federal, state and local levels. She is a frequent lecturer and has authored numerous tax articles on a variety of subjects.

Lynn Mucenski-Keck, Assistant Professor, St. John Fisher College, Rochester, NY
A CPA, she began her international tax career in Minneapolis with Ernst &Young, and then spent three years in Belgium, as an International Tax Manager with Deloitte. She was most recently published in the CPA Journal regarding U.S. Corporate Tax Reform Proposals.

Credits Available

This program has been approved for 2.0 CPE hours through Strafford Publications. CPE Credit is available only for the LIVE webcast. Recorded versions do not qualify for credit.

Strafford is registered with the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA) as a sponsor of continuing professional education on the National Registry of CPE Sponsors. State boards of accountancy have final authority on the acceptance of individual courses for CPE credit.
