Certified Senior Advisor (CSA) Designation Program

Description:

Certified Senior Advisor (CSA) Designation Program
Over 10,000 Americans turn 60 each day, one of the most profound demographic developments we have ever seen. Today’s seniors face the real prospect of living longer than most ever imagined.

But living longer has special challenges. Because over 75% of the nation’s wealth is controlled by seniors, it is vital to help them preserve their assets so that they don’t outlive them. Thus, professionals are responding by becoming Certified Senior Advisors (CSAs).

The CSA Designation Program certifies that designees have broad-based knowledge of the health, social and financial issues that are important to the majority of seniors, and recognize the dynamics of these factors in seniors’ lives.

Only if you understand what’s important to seniors will you gain the essential credibility you need to gain their trust and business. When it comes to providing specific recommendations concerning their nest egg and future, seniors want someone who understands their needs, and you can demonstrate you have this knowledge with the CSA designation.

About The Provider: The education and certification program that Society of Certified Senior Advisors (SCSA) delivers is unique. To our knowledge, it is the only program that focuses on an integrated approach to the health, financial, and social aspects of aging, with its focus on people, not products.

In 1997, Ed Pittock, president of SCSA, gathered experts in all facets of aging, including doctors, attorneys, gerontologists, accountants, financial planners. All shared Ed’s vision: that seniors would benefit from a standardized level of knowledge for the professionals who work with them.

The education that this group of distinguished experts created became the basis for the Certified Senior Advisor (CSA)® designation.

Professionals from many walks of life have added the CSA designation to their credentials, and have integrated the CSA education into their professional practices — to the benefit of their senior clients and themselves.
